Merck & Co., Inc. Selected to Appear on ``The Global

Learning Series'' in ``Understanding Surgery'' Program


BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--GTS Education Inc. announced today that “The Global Learning Series,” an education-focused television program distributed to public television, will feature Merck & Co., Inc. in an episode called “Understanding Surgery”.

The show will be distributed in the spring to public television stations and several cable television stations throughout the country. The program aims to educate viewers on important issues and advances regarding post-operative nausea and vomiting (PONV), a distressing side effect of surgery that can be prevented.
