"Understanding Women’s Health" will be shot at The Elizabeth Wende Breast Clinic
in
Rochester, NY, USA and distributed in the spring to public television stations
as well as
airing on several cable television stations throughout the United States and on
Voice of
America globally. The program will educate viewers on important issues and
advances
regarding mammography management.
“We are honored to work together with Sectra as partners to educate the global
medical and
patient communities with this emotionally and visually compelling story. The
program will
explore the issues, and advances in managing vital information to prevent and
manage breast cancer, the second leading cause of death in women,” commented
John McGuire, Senior Producer of Programming for “The Global Learning Series.”
Mammography departments and clinics are experiencing a revolution in digital
imaging. New
advances in digital imaging technologies has dramatically impacted the way
mammography
images are viewed, distributed and archived, resulting in a more efficient
process and a
significant improvement in the patient experience.
Sectra Breast Imaging PACS is a full-scale Picture Archiving and Communication
