EUGENE, Ore. & BOCA RATON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mushroom
Science and GTS Education Inc. announced today that “The Global
Learning Series,” an education-focused television program
distributed to public television, has invited Mushroom Science to be
featured in an episode called “Understanding Traditional Medicine.”
The show will be distributed this winter to public television

regarding the clinically validated healing power of mushrooms.
Coriolus mushroom extracts are used to protect, restore or support
immune health. They are used most often to protect the immune system
from the side effects of chemotherapy and to maintain optimal immune
health after surgical treatment for cancer.
“We are extremely honored to partner with Mushroom Science to bring
this visually and emotionally compelling program to our viewers
about medicinal mushrooms and mushroom mycelium, the culmination of
3000 years of Chinese Medicine and 30 years of scientific research,”
said John McGuire, Senior Producer of Programming for “The Global

About Mushroom Science
While medicinal mushrooms have been used for thousands of years in
Traditional East Asian Medicine, rigorous scientific testing on the
use of these mushrooms has been conducted only in the past thirty
years. However, those thirty years of research have produced a
wealth of information.
At Mushroom Science, we find that on all of the important points,
science supports the preparation and use of medicinal mushrooms as
described in the texts on Traditional Chinese Medicine. Our mission
is to use science as a tool to continue exploring the profound
health benefits that Coriolus and the other medicinal mushrooms have
to offer. For more information, contact:
